For BBC Wonderland.  Over a million cats - half of them stray or abandoned - now prowl the streets of London, and their numbers are soaring.  But - as this year's kitten season finds thousands more cats homeless and unwanted - a small number of women take it upon themselves to rescue, save and shelter the most vulnerable.
